Even if you have seen Dixie Stampede in the past, you should plan to see it again.  Majestic longhorns have replaced the buffalo. The Spirit of the Bird is also part of the opening act that is brought about by the Native American Medicine Man as the story goes.   He calls down the Spirit of the Bird.  She is a young lady in a beatiful costume.  This all takes place under black light.  Now, I am not going to say anymore and spoil it for you.  You just need to go to Pigeon Forge and experience it for yourself.  When I visited, even high school teenagers gave this show a big thumbs up, which speaks volumns.

And the food is wonderful! Make sure you get there at least an hour in advance and go to the preshow! I didn't know about that and missed part of it!

Dixie Stampede is always a favorite of my family. It is more fun and more show than you can imagine, and the food is always great! I like buying packages that include several tickets to several shows and also our place to stay.
